The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training Participants Will Tell Their Peers Why They Should "Just Go For It" in Online Video Contest
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., Jan. 31, 2011/PRNewswire/ -- Taking on a marathon or other endurance sport may seem like a daunting challenge, but now the participants of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training, the world's leading endurance sports charity training program, are going to tell their peers to "Just Go For It."
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) today launched the "Just Go For It" video contest, asking participants to produce their own 15-second video answering the question: "Why Should You Do TNT?" and then share it with their social networking contacts. Contestants must upload the video to www.teamintraining.org/justgoforit by Feb. 10, 2011, where it will be subject to voting by their peers. Voting will take place from Feb. 11 through Feb. 18 and the winner will be announced Feb. 21. The top vote getter will win a $500 Nike gift card and will be featured on LLS and TNT social networking venues.
"Our TNT participants are extremely active social networkers and we think this will be a fun way for them to share their excitement about the program and to urge their friends to 'Just Go For It' too," says Nancy L. Klein, LLS Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer. "From the great coaching to the camaraderie of the TEAM to the mission of beating cancer, there are so many great reasons to do TNT and nobody knows them better than our participants."
