LAKE BLUFF, Ill., Feb. 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Terlato Wines is pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Terlato II as Illinois Regional Manager for its Premier Division. Mr. Terlato joins the company from Empire Merchants in New York, where he most recently managed a sales team of 8 people servicing on-premise accounts in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Prior to his experience in New York he worked as a sales representative and account manager for Southern Wine and Spirits in Chicago.
In his new role, Mr. Terlato will be responsible for sales of Terlato Wines' Premier Division portfolio in the company's home market and manage a team of District Managers. He reports to Philip Tardy, Vice President of Sales for Terlato Wines' Central Division.

Tony began his career as one of the first hires at start-up online restaurant reservation company Seat Me (since acquired by Yelp). He then joined Southern Wine & Spirits, managing sales for on-premise accounts in Chicago. In 2014, he was promoted to account manager for the Signature Division, where he called on Chicago's largest off-premise accounts.
Tony holds a Bachelor's degree in History from Duke University, as well as a Markets and Management certificate. He also has attained Level II certification in the WSET (Wine & Spirits Education Trust) program, and is the second member of the fourth generation of the Terlato family to work in the company, after Jo Terlato Giannoulias joined the company in 2013.
