Tony Monterastelli Joins ES Research Group as Research Analyst

WEST TISBURY, Mass., April 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Tony Monterastelli, an accomplished editor and business journalist, has joined ES Research Group, Inc. (ESR) as a research analyst. In his new position, Monterastelli will apply his journalistic experience to conduct unbiased research, evaluate individual sales training companies and produce reports on of-the-moment sales training issues and trends that organizations can use to make sales training decisions.

Monterastelli also brings extensive knowledge of the sales industry to his new position at ESR. While at Velocity, he developed, edited and wrote articles, case studies and editorials in collaboration with many key players in sales training and with SAMA executives with responsibility for sales training at their organizations.
In his previous position, Monterastelli also collaborated with speakers and presenters to produce and edit highly-rated presentations at SAMA's annual conferences and events. He edited and co-developed SAMA's Annual Report on Strategic Account Management Compensation Practices and also produced and hosted SAMA's webinar series.
Earlier in his career, Tony was a financial writer for Standard & Poor's and served as a staff writer at daily newspapers. As a newspaper reporter in his home state of Wyoming, Tony won the Wyoming Press Association award for Outstanding Government Reporting. Tony has a bachelor's degree in political science and a law degree from the University of Wyoming.
