EDISON, N.J., May 22, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Northeast Council of Carpenters (NRCC) today announced the appointment of Tony Bianchini as the Director of Communications. Bianchini has more than 17 years of experience in public affairs, public relations, social media, corporate communications, media relations, grassroots advocacy, crisis communications, marketing and community relations for Fortune 500 corporations, government agencies, trade unions, newspapers/websites and public relations agencies.

Prior to joining NRCC, Bianchini served as the Vice President at H&G Public Affairs, based in Yardley, PA. At H&G, he developed public affairs, community relations and crisis management programs for clients in the utility/energy, chemical and manufacturing industries. Before H&G, he served as the Director of Public Affairs at Open Door Media, where he was responsible for providing communications, public affairs, public relations, media relations, social media, grassroots advocacy and crisis communications for government agencies, non-profit organizations and public companies.

Bianchini is the Co-Chair of the Southern New Jersey Development Council's Government Affairs Committee. He received a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2000. Bianchini is the proud father of two girls and resides in Hunterdon County, NJ.
