Tonight's Nixon Library Event previews National School Choice Week, 500 expected to attend.
LOS ANGELES, Jan. 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- More than 500 people will discuss the need to improve education in Los Angeles and across the country, at a special event on January 21, 2011. The Education Revolution Town Hall, hosted by NEWS Talk 870 KRLA, in conjunction with National School Choice Week, will begin at 7:30 pm at the Richard Nixon Library. The event is FREE and open to the public.
Nationally recognized analysts Hugh Hewitt and Dick Morris are confirmed to attend and speak. Media interviews can be arranged before or after the event.
National School Choice Week, January 23-29, 2011, will shine an unprecedented spotlight on the need to dramatically improve educational outcomes for children and will highlight the benefits of school choice programs. Tens of thousands of people are expected to participate in events across the country during the week, which is being organized by more than 150 national and state groups.
