WASHINGTON, Oct. 17, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- International Brotherhood of Teamsters General President Jim Hoffa has appointed Tommy Blitsch director of the Teamsters Trade Show and Convention Centers Division.
Blitsch, a 25-year Teamster, was elected Secretary-Treasurer of Teamsters Local 631 in 2011 and again in 2014. He began his career working at UPS as a pre-loader in 1992. Local 631 represents more than 2,000 members in the trade show and convention centers industry.

Blitsch has held the positions of Vice President and President of Teamsters Local 631. He also serves on the Governor of Nevada's Workforce Development Board (GNWB) Industry Sector Council and was recently appointed Vice President At-Large on the Nevada State AFL-CIO Executive Board.
