Todd Christopher Headrick, Ph.D. is recognized by Continental Who's Who

CARBONDALE, Ill., Oct. 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Continental Who's Who recognizes Todd Christopher Headrick, Ph.D. as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in recognition of his contributions to the field of Higher Education.

Dr. Headrick earned his Ph.D. from Wayne State University in Statistics and Measurement, and both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts from Eastern Michigan University. He furthered his career in academia at Southern Illinois University (SIU) in Carbondale, Illinois, where he currently teaches in the Department of Counseling, Quantitative Methods and Special Education as well as the Department of Psychology.

In addition to his teaching roles at SIU, where he has been on the faculty for 17 years, Dr. Headrick has held administrative roles as Associate Dean of Research and Statistical Analysis and Department Chair of Counseling, Quantitative Methods and Special Education. He applies his expertise in mathematical statistics and statistical computing methodology.

Dr. Headrick's resume includes a plethora of published work. To name a few pieces, he published a book titled Statistical Simulation: Power Method Polynomials and Other Transformations, which was listed in the top twenty of the library journal for best sellers in Mathematics in 2010, and has published over 60 articles in various journals between 1999 and 2016.

To further his professional development, Dr. Headrick is a member of the American Education Research Association, the International Association for Statistical Computing, the Psychometric Society, the Mathematics Association of America, the American Statistical Association and the Institute of Mathematical Statistics.

In recognition of his impressive body of work, Dr. Headrick was awarded the Outstanding Scholar Award from SIU College of Education and Human Services in 2008. He has also been a member of several university committees, including the Faculty Tenure and Promotion Committee, the Honorary Degree and Distinguished Service Award Committee and the University Distinguished Scholar Award Committee.
