BATON ROUGE, La., Aug. 25, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Members of the press are invited to join U.S. Senator David Vitter (R-La.), Chairman of the Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee, and the Honorable Maria Contreras-Sweet, Administrator of the Small Business Administration (SBA), today as they tour the flood-impacted areas in Livingston, Ascension, and East Baton Rouge parishes.
At 1:45pm CST today, Senator Vitter and Administrator Contreras-Sweet will host a Media Availability outside of Mason's Grill, located at 13556 Jefferson Hwy in Baton Rouge.
Chairman Vitter also spoke with Julian Castro, Secretary of the U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) last night, and Secretary Castro will be joining Vitter and Administrator Contreras-Sweet for a portion of the day. Additionally, members of Louisiana's Congressional Delegation will join Vitter and the SBA Administrator at various events throughout the day.
