TODAY: Nation's Largest-Ever School Choice Celebration to Kick Off in Jacksonville
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Jan. 23, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The largest celebration of school choice in US history will officially start today, Friday, January 23, 2015 at a special event in Jacksonville, Florida.
NSCW 2015 will be the nation's largest-ever celebration of opportunity in education. The Week, which will include 11,082 events, will spotlight traditional public schools, public charter schools, magnet schools, online learning, private schools, and homeschooling. The goal of the Week is to raise awareness of the K-12 options that parents have, or want to have, for their children's education.
