Today at 2:00 p.m. EDT, Family Research Council Senior Fellow Peter Sprigg will be joined by retired military leaders to release new research that confirms the military already has a significant problem of homosexual misconduct. This problem can only become worse if the current law is overturned and homosexuals are openly welcomed (and even granted special protections) within the military, as homosexual activists are demanding.
Within the next two days, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is expected to bring the issue to a floor vote, and Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman Carl Levin is expected to attempt adding an amendment to the Defense Authorization bill.
Earlier today, FRC released a new video "Don't Ask, Don't Listen" explaining how President Obama, Speaker Pelosi, and Senator Levin are displaying incredible disrespect for the troops by short-circuiting the process. Watch the video here.. http://www.frcaction.org/dontaskdontlisten
