To Address Strong Growth in Demand for Investigative and Due Diligence Services, Hillard Heintze Taps Two Former Investigators From Kroll, FTI Consulting and the Illinois State Police
Glenn D. Leonard and Andrew M. Keith Bring Almost 40 Years of Experience in International, State and Local Investigations to Hillard Heintze's Client Needs Worldwide
CHICAGO, Aug. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Hillard Heintze today announced that it has named Glenn D. Leonard as Senior Director, and Andrew M. Keith as Director, of its investigations practice. The appointments come at a time when demand for the firm's investigative and due diligence services is surging, particularly for employee conduct and HR-related investigations.
As a 26-year veteran of the Illinois State Police – and both a seasoned investigator and an attorney – Glenn Leonard has conducted and supervised a wide range of criminal investigations, including numerous high profile and complex cases related to employee fraud and financial crimes, corruption, narcotics distribution, sexual assault, drug diversion, theft, and criminal enterprise operations.
Andrew M. Keith is a former Director in Kroll's Business Intelligence and Investigations practice, where he specialized in business risk management engagements that included asset searches, pre-employment background investigations, litigation support and pre-transactional due diligence. Before working at Kroll, Keith served as a Director in FTI's Forensic Litigation Consulting division, where he managed investigative, business intelligence and litigation support engagements across international and domestic jurisdictions. Earlier in his career, Keith served as bureau manager and news desk editor in Time Magazine's Moscow and Chicago bureaus, researching and reporting on feature and hard news stories for Time, Inc. publications in Russia and the Midwest and managing the international magazine's Moscow and Midwest bureaus. Keith is a fluent Russian speaker and reader.
"We're delighted to have Glenn and Andrew join our investigative team," says Arnette Heintze, the firm's Chief Executive Officer. "In fact, both of their case loads are already at full capacity. Glenn's extensive experience in conducting complex, multi-jurisdictional investigations has already proved its merit – as has his insights as a practicing attorney. At the same time, Andrew's knowledge and expertise is exactly in the areas we're experiencing the greatest growth right now. Like due diligence and background investigations of public and private companies and their principals. Asset investigations. Litigation support for legal firms. And the theft of corporate assets from equipment to trade secrets. Our investigative team is outstanding – and it's even stronger with Glenn and Andrew aboard."
