The NSA Safety Awards recognize superior performance as measured against Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) recordable injury rates. The awards were presented to the company during the NSA's fall meeting held in San Diego, California.
Since joining the NSA in 2005, Tube City IMS has earned 318 Safety Awards.

Company sites in Mexico receiving the same award were Monclova, Monterrey and Puebla.
