TMG Health Names Mary Anne Kania Director of Audit Services
KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., Jan. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- TMG Health, the leading national provider of expert solutions for health plans in the Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part D, and Managed Medicaid markets, recently announced the appointment of Mary Anne Kania as Director of Audit Services.

Kania is responsible for directing the Internal Audit and CMS Audit functions of the Company in order to provide assurance and auditing services to management and staff. She will plan and conduct operational, financial, and compliance audits in order to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and determine compliance with selected policies, procedures, and regulations.

Kania began her career at TMG Health as Supervisor of Internal Audit in 2009 and was later promoted to Manager in 2010. Prior to joining TMG Health, she held management positions at Diversified Information Technology, Scranton, Pa., and Blue Cross of Northeastern PA, Wilkes-Barre, Pa., in the areas of quality, systems design and testing, and financial systems.
She holds bachelor's degrees in Accounting and Business Administration from King's College, Wilkes-Barre, Pa. She has supplemented her degrees with coursework in Database Management Systems, Visual Basic, Telecommunications, and Network Security. She also holds ISO 9001:2000 Internal Auditor certification.
