Titan Bolsters Management Across Country
Ad Firm Hires New General Managers in San Francisco, New Jersey, and Minneapolis/St. Paul to Cultivate Innovation and Change
NEW YORK, July 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Titan has announced new general managers in its San Francisco, New Jersey, and Minneapolis/St. Paul markets, whose wide-ranging experience will assist the company as it continues to outpace the industry. In addition to driving growth of traditional Out-of-Home advertising in each of their markets, the new general managers will ensure that all staff members are fluent in the soon-to-be released TAB Transit Ratings as well as the ever-growing role of technology.
Beth Purcell has been hired as the General Manager in the San Francisco market. With over 10 years of digital media development and media sales experience, Purcell will be instrumental in Titan's Bay Area evolution. Purcell previously held the position of Integrated Media Sales Manager at Cox Media Group, where she was directly responsible for the development of customer focused multi-platform sales solutions as well as the continuous improvements of digital advertising.
San Francisco Municipal Railway (MUNI) recently renewed their contract with Titan, agreeing to continue the advertising partnership for up to an additional 15 years. San Francisco's Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) also granted Titan the approval to deploy up to 18 digital displays within its three largest stations- Powell, Montgomery, and Embarcadero. AC Transit rounds out Titan's Bay Area media coverage.
"We are delighted to welcome Beth to Titan," said Jamie Lowe, Chief Sales Officer. "She joins us at a very exciting time for the company as we continue to grow and introduce new media."
Ken Kiczales has been hired as Vice President, General Manager for Titan's New Jersey market. Kiczales began his career in advertising at the New York Post and quickly moved up to Vice President of Digital and Print Advertising. Recognized as one of News Corporation's "Leaders of the future," he was responsible for the first print, web and tablet takeovers and the successful introduction and implementation of advertising units on websites. Kiczales also played an integral role in two website redesigns.
Titan's advertising partnership with NJ Transit covers the entire state of New Jersey, encompassing bus, rail and digital media. NJ Transit and Titan recently agreed to test beacon technology in ten stations in order to improve rider experience and grow advertising revenue. Kiczales's extensive cross-media experience will be of vital importance in helping to find new ways for advertisers to engage with riders across NJ Transit's portfolio.
"We are very pleased that Ken has joined Titan," said Lowe. "In the short time he has been with us, he is already making a real impact on our New Jersey transit business. He is a team player with a significant media background, and we are excited for our future with him."
In Titan's Minneapolis/St. Paul market, Marcus Bolton has been hired as General Manager as well. Bolton has over 15 years of experience and expertise in media sales and online advertising. He previously held the position as Senior Manager of Affiliate Sales at Digital River and also assisted in the development of the Legal Technology Center on the Thomas Reuters Online Advertising website.
"Marcus is a great addition to the Minneapolis/St. Paul team," said Lowe. "He brings a varied media background, having worked on both the agency side and the media sales side. We are also impressed with his knowledge of the latest innovations and believe that this will result in increased success for Metro Transit within this important Titan market."
