Titan Announces New Key Roles
Ad Firm Announces New Positions to Embrace Industry Evolution
NEW YORK, June 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Advances in technology and audience measurements are impacting every aspect of today's OOH business. Titan, the leader in People in Transit advertising, is announcing two new key roles in the firm's ongoing focus on the future.
The first position is that of Vice President, National Operations Director, a role being filled by Mark Graham, an eight-year veteran of Titan. Mr. Graham has been tasked with leading the Operations department as Titan's Transit media becomes increasingly embedded with technology, as well as measured for the first time. Empowered by the TAB Transit Ratings and the big data generated by mobile technology, such as beacons, Titan is gathering more insights about audiences and micro-locations than ever before. Mr. Graham's responsibilities reflect the increased sophistication and complexity of OOH Operations.
"Operations continues to be the backbone of our business," said Don Allman, President and CEO of Titan. "But that business is becoming increasingly intricate and we needed to upgrade the running and vision of the department. It is vital that we leverage the new data we gather in ways that benefit our clients. Mark has the vision, as well as the internal relationships, to ensure that we move as quickly as possible to make our media responsive to the world around it, and therefore the needs of our advertisers."
Titan's second key hire is Kima Walker-Willis who will be serving in a brand new position of Director of Training and Development. In this position Ms. Walker-Willis will create and execute the ongoing training and coaching of every Titan employee. This role was created in part as a result of feedback conducted during an internal company-wide survey. The ad firm also recognized that as a leader in the innovation and growth of the industry, it needed to bolster its training efforts to ensure employees were able to articulate the changing nature of the business.
"We are incredibly excited about this new role because it will be the first time we have had a resource in-house solely for the purpose of developing talent. We strongly believe in nurturing and coaching our staff throughout every stage of their career, and the evolving nature of our business demands that we learn new skills frequently, quickly and thoroughly," said Dave Etherington, EVP Chief Strategy Officer, Titan. "Kima's enthusiasm and credibility is going to be a great asset for us, as is her strong pedigree across many different training and development disciplines."
Ms. Walker-Willis previously held the position of Leadership Development Training Manager/Executive Coach at Cablevision for four years in addition to eight years in a training capacity in other firms. Both Ms. Walker-Willis and Mr. Graham will be based in New York, both start immediately.
