Titan Advisors Appoints New Senior Research Analyst

RYE BROOK, N.Y., July 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Titan Advisors, LLC ("Titan"), one of the largest independent fund of funds companies in the U.S., announced today that Herman Laret, formerly of Credit Suisse, has joined as a senior research analyst for the firm's manager research global macro team.

With 24 years of experience in financial services, Mr. Laret joins Titan from Credit Suisse, where he was a managing director in global cross-asset macro product sales. He previously served as co-head of interest rate sales, and as treasury product manager. Mr. Laret had two stints totaling nearly 14 years at Credit Suisse, separated by a three-year period as a partner and senior portfolio manager at MKP Capital trading G10 rates products.

Among his other duties at Credit Suisse, Mr. Laret sat on the Hedge Fund Investment Committee, responsible for investing the firm's proprietary capital in hedge funds. He also served on the Managing Directors Evaluation Committee in 2012-2013. In 1999, Mr. Laret implemented Credit Suisse's award-winning global analytics system, "Locus."

Mr. Laret began his career in 1990 on the mergers and acquisitions desk at Salomon Brothers in London, before transferring to Salomon's New York office to become a government bond trader. He has a degree in Medicine from Leiden University in the Netherlands.

Mr. Laret and his wife reside in Manhattan and are the parents of two children. He has been active in the New York community, serving on the board of the Odyssey House Foundation. He has also been involved with the Starlight Children's Foundation and is an assistant coach for the Manhattan Soccer Club.
