Tis the Season for Holiday Travel! Rate Your Trip with the Passenger Choice Awards
NEW YORK, Dec. 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- New FAA rules on portable devices in the US, flashier inflight technology world-wide, a changing passenger experience … the airline industry is practically begging to hear what you think about the exciting changes taking place in the air and on the ground! As you pack your bags for holiday travel, remember to give the gift of feedback by rating your trips at The Passenger Choice Awards.
The Passenger Choice Awards program is how flyers like you send your opinions directly to the airlines. By way of a customizable online survey, passengers can rate every aspect of the trip – from ticketing to inflight entertainment to baggage claim. And passengers may fill out the survey at www.passengerchoiceawards.com every single trip.
"The feedback you provide is important because it's not simply lost in the ether; participating airlines actually see your ratings, they see your written comments, and they improve the passenger experience based on what you have to say," said Dominic Green, chairman of the Airline Passenger Experience Association's (APEX) Awards Committee. "In addition, airlines earn bragging rights for making you happy when they gather each year for the annual Awards Ceremony."
Travelers are invited to complete the survey year-round and make every trip count. The Passenger Choice Awards winners are named each fall. Award categories include inflight publications, connectivity and communications, food and beverage, informational videos and entertainment, cabin ambience and pre-departure experience.
Winners last year included Virgin America, which was awarded with the Best Overall Passenger Experience award. TAP Portugal wowed passengers with its inflight video, and Norwegian Air Shuttle was honored for Best Inflight Connectivity & Communications, to name a few.
