Tina Lundgren Elected Chairman Of The Ronald McDonald House New York Board Of Directors
McCann Worldgroup Chairman & CEO Harris Diamond Named Chairman Elect; Will Assume Position in 2017
NEW YORK, Oct. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Ronald McDonald House® New York today announced that Tina Lundgren has been elected to serve as chairman of its board of directors. Mrs. Lundgren will succeed Stanley B. Shopkorn, managing director of Hilltop Park Associates LLC, who has served as chairman since 2006. Mrs. Lundgren will serve for a term of three years.

Mrs. Lundgren joined the Ronald McDonald House New York board of directors in 2007. A published author of numerous works about marketing, branding and business strategy, she has demonstrated her commitment to the House in various roles, including as board vice chairman and triathlete. Mrs. Lundgren received her Masters of Business Administration from The Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. She also serves as Vice Chair of the board of Figure Skating in Harlem, and is a World Figure Skating Judge.
The Ronald McDonald House New York board of directors also voted to name McCann Worldgroup CEO Harris Diamond as Chairman-Elect, who will succeed Mrs. Lundgren in 2017. A member of the board since 2006, he has served as vice chairman, as well as chairman of the organization's Long Range Planning Committee. Through that that committee's very important work, Mr. Diamond will continue to lead expansion efforts to provide more support services to families within the facility, as well as within partner hospitals throughout the city.
