"With our extensive history serving the automotive industry, we've been able to garner outstanding brand recognition," said Barry Harris, manager of strategy, cataloging and marketing for Timken. "We are building on that strength with a new generation of installers and enthusiasts, and are delighted to have Timken products featured on popular shows they watch." Harris said a recent study conducted by an independent research firm of independent repair shops in the United States revealed that 90% of technicians are familiar with the Timken® brand. That same study revealed installer's preference for Timken wheel bearings over other premium brands by a two-to-one margin. When asked why they trust Timken over others, respondents cited quality, reliability and the long performance life of Timken products.
