Delivers Speeds Five Times Faster Than 3G Networks
NEW YORK, Oct. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Time Warner Cable today announced it will officially launch Time Warner Cable Mobile Internet and Time Warner Cable Business Class Mobile Internet in the New York City area on November 1, 2010 for residential and business customers respectively. The company's new Mobile Internet network will deliver speeds up to 6 Mbps, five times faster than 3G, making it one of the fastest mobile broadband networks available.

Both residential and business customers will be able to enjoy the benefits of the superfast broadband mobile speeds. Time Warner Cable Mobile Internet users will have the ability to view streaming videos, listen to music and engage in online gaming while also having access to resources such as Web Mail, Internet security, data storage and other online services at www.rr.com. Business Class Mobile customers will have the ability to download large office files, access intranet sites, utilize customer relationship tools and other business-related information.

- USB data cards will allow users to connect via laptop computers
- Mobile Internet devices and laptops provisioned with embedded WiMAX radio chipsets
- IntelliGo (a dual mode mobile hotspot) enables up to five Wi-Fi-enabled devices, such as the iPod Touch® and iPad™ mobile digital devices as well as portable gaming devices, laptops, and cameras.
Time Warner Cable customers will be eligible to benefit from preferred pricing plans that allow them to bundle their 4G Mobile Network service with digital cable, high-speed data and digital phone services. By bundling these services together, customers also get the added advantage of a single monthly bill, making payments simple and easy.
Time Warner Cable's NYC region includes four New York City boroughs (Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island and western Brooklyn), Mt.
