Time Out New York To Celebrate The City With Five Days Of Free Activities And Giveaways
Time Out New York is hosting five days of free activities, including hand distribution of over 150,000 free copies of the Time Out New York Magazine.
NEW YORK, Oct. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Time Out New York is the first and best source of inspiration for New Yorkers, recommending everything from the best restaurants and bars to art exhibitions and theater shows. To celebrate our upcoming issue heralding the best in New York that is free, we plan to create a 'week of free' for the entire city!
For five days only, we will bring our audience the best gratis events and experiences in New York through daily digital content, giveaways, prizes, incredible free products and tickets. Our partners include SPiN, Blo Blow Dry Bar, Ample Hills, New York Wine and Food Festival, and a free showing of Timber! Cirque Alfonse at NYU Skirball Center, plus an extraordinary opportunity to try the print magazine for free.
On October 15th, over 150,000 copies of the magazine will be available on the streets of New York from 7am – 10am and 4pm – 7pm covering Manhattan from the Financial District to 140th Street. Additionally, an integrated social media campaign will promote and support the hand distribution around the city.
The week will culminate in a complimentary, exclusive event at private creative collective NeueHouse for Time Out New York readers. The event will be produced in partnership with Sofar Sounds - the world's largest live music discovery community who curate secret, intimate gigs in unique spaces around the world. Access to the event will be possible via both our print and digital platforms.
