WASHINGTON, March 20, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Time is running out to offer your best work for 2016 for consideration in the National Press Club's national journalism contest this year.
The contest will have breaking news competition for print/online and for broadcast award entries for top news and feature photos, and many other categories.
The awards will be presented at an annual awards dinner at the Press Club this summer.
Now is the time for journalists to look for their best work and prepare their entries for the journalism contest. The deadline is April 1. Details on the different awards categories and how to enter the contest can be found at http://press.org/membership/awards

It also includes awards for reporting on the welfare of animals, humor writing and coverage of the journalism industry, the aviation industry and problems facing the elderly.
