NEW YORK, Nov. 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Arup, a global leader in the built environment, today announced that Tim Treharne has joined the firm as a Principal in the New York office. Treharne joins the executive leadership at Arup to drive results and growth for its advisory services business as the firm continues to build and invest in its global consulting offerings.

With nearly three decades of experience in banking and project finance, Treharne has led or participated in numerous infrastructure projects globally as either financial advisor, equity provider, developer or lender. His portfolio spans three continents – Europe, North America and South America – in sectors including ground transportation, aviation, water, energy, and social infrastructure.
Prior to joining Arup, Treharne was European chief operating officer at Meridiam Infrastructure based in Paris, where he oversaw development projects from initial screening to financial close and subsequent asset management.
Treharne was also previously senior director, vice chairman of Global Infrastructure at KPMG, where he developed infrastructure teams in the U.K., the U.S., France and Latin America, and assisted various governments in developing PPP programs and laws. Prior to that Treharne served as head of global infrastructure at Bank of America for project finance advisory and debt structuring and lending.
