Tilson Promotes Mike Dow to Chief Information Officer

PORTLAND, Maine and DENVER, May 14, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Tilson, a national network deployment and IT professional services firm, is pleased to announce that Mike Dow has been promoted to Chief Information Officer ("CIO") to help support the demands of Tilson's explosive growth and client needs in the deployment of 5G, fiber design build, and specialized construction IT consulting in Sage, Viewpoint, CMiC, Oracle and Microsoft Enterprise Systems. Tilson is considered an industry innovator in the deployment, use and implementation of construction Enterprise Software systems, Microsoft Azure and cloud security.

After founding Tilson in 1996 and transitioning ownership in 2012 to Mr. Broder, Mr. Dow has served as Tilson's Vice President of Consulting since 2014. With more than two decades of experience in various IT leadership roles, he currently leads Tilson's growing consulting and information technology practice, overseeing production tracking, cloud security, key performance analytics, construction IT best practices, and electronic data interchanges.

With Tilson's recent up to $100 million equity investment by SDC Capital Partners and the welcome of a new Chief Financial Officer Shaun McCarthy, former Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller at Casa Systems in Boston, Tilson is positioning itself inside and out to meet the industry demands that will enable its continued growth. Tilson hired Adria Horn, Maine's former Executive Director of the Bureau of Veterans Affairs in late 2018 to lead its workforce development team, and Tim Schneider, Maine's former Public Advocate (utility consumer counsel), in the summer of 2017 as Tilson's general counsel. Additional promotions of key individuals on Tilson's system team include Doreen Bell, Director of Enterprise Applications, and Kevin Winfrey, Director of IT Systems and Security.
