TigerDirect Partners With Intel To Host PC Race For Charity
18TH ANNUAL COMPETITION KICKS-OFF AT QUAKECON 2015
MIAMI, July 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- TigerDirect, a leading retailer of computers & personal electronics, from TVs & video games to servers & services, and a subsidiary of Systemax, today announced it has partnered with Intel to host its 18th annual PC Race. This year, the competition is set to kick off at QuakeCon 2015 in Dallas, TX from July 23rd to July 26th. The first contestant to assemble and boot their high performance PCs in each regional race will win an all expenses paid trip to Miami to compete in the National Finals on November 6th during Tech Bash. Tech Bash is the largest consumer electronics expo and trade show on the east coast. Open to the public, last years' event attracted over 18,000 attendees.
The top three finishers will receive a TigerDirect gift card and a donation to the charity of their choice.
Known as a PC gaming haven, QuakeCon plays host to one of the largest LAN parties in the world, with thousands of gamers flocking to Dallas every year to hang out for three days straight, play games and participate in all-night tournaments.

Regional Race Prizing
1st place at each regional event will win:

From the year of its launch, the race has supported hundreds of charities with millions in donations, including cash and hardware.
