LOS ANGELES, March 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- TicketGuardian, a leading insurtech provider for the live events industry, announced today that Casey Callinsky has joined the startup as its new president. Bryan Derbyshire will remain as CEO and Chairman.
"I've become fanatic about the mission and the people here at TicketGuardian, and I can say the same for my family. It's an electrifying feeling being part of an organization that is in the right place, at the right time," said Casey Callinsky, president of TicketGuardian. "I'm excited to not only help grow and shape the business, but to transform the entire space."
Callinsky is committed to applying his leadership skills and deep knowledge of customer experience to TicketGuardian. He will be critical in helping to accelerate growth, increase market share, and maintain the company's commitment to streamlining the ease of claims and customer service.
Callinsky has extensive experience leading teams across multiple functions over the past twenty years in the banking industry, most notably as bank area president for Wells Fargo. There, he held several important roles leading small business strategy, business banking partnerships, government relations, diversity and inclusion strategy and implementation, as well as community support.
"Casey has been a leader in all that he does. I'm thankful he decided to take a leap by switching industries and joining our team—it will certainly be more fun," said Bryan Derbyshire, CEO of TicketGuardian.
Callinsky's hire comes during a particular heavy growth phase for the company, having recently integrated into several ticketing platforms as well as being the title sponsor for the TicketGuardian 500, a NASCAR race held at ISM Raceway in Avondale, AZ.
