Thunder Valley Casino Resort Gives Away Over $9.9 Million in January
LINCOLN, Calif., Feb. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Thunder Valley Casino Resort is lighting up Chinese New Year by giving away $9,955,384 in the month of January and by hosting a dazzling fireworks display to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit. The Chinese New Year Fireworks Celebration is set to take place on February 4 at 9:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
"We had a phenomenal Year of the Tiger and we're looking forward to celebrating the Year of the Rabbit with an incredible fireworks show, two concerts, and a parade later in the month," said C.J. Graham, General Manager at Thunder Valley Casino Resort. "We're also giving our guests even more chances to win in the Year of the Rabbit with $500,000 February Fortunes and our $100,000 Hot Hands and Cool Cars Poker Room Exclusive."
With 30 guaranteed winners every week, $500,000 February Fortunes is sure to start the Year of the Rabbit off right. Sundays in February are a hot day to play with Good Fortune Hot Seats. Every fifteen minutes from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., one table game player will win up to $2,500 in Promotional Chips. Eight lucky winners will also play to win a Mercedes ML350 or up to $20,000 in February Fortunes drawings every Friday and Saturday night at 8 p.m.
Thunder Valley guests still have plenty of chances to win in the $100,000 Cool Hands and Hot Cars Poker Room Exclusive. Every Wednesday, 15 winners will share in over $3,000 in cash and prizes during this Poker Room exclusive promotion. Hourly drawings will take place from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Wednesday night. The Grand Prize drawing will be held on March 16 with over $70,000 in cash and prizes awarded including one new Corvette. Guests can earn entries into each week's drawing by receiving a qualifying hand while playing with their Thunder Club card. Entries accumulated throughout the promotion will be put toward the grand Prize drawing on March 16. Qualifying hands include any full house (one entry), any four of a kind (three entries), and any straight flush (five entries).

Thunder Valley Casino Resort was opened by the United Auburn Indian Community in June 2003. The newly remodeled and expanded entertainment, dining and hotel resort is Northern California's first casino offering all the elements of real Las Vegas-style gaming: service, cuisine and entertainment in an outstanding facility.
