Thunder Valley Casino Resort Gives Away Over $10 Million in July
Escape to Paradise Giveaway, $200k Cruisin' Poker Giveaway, Lucky Lady Pinup Contest Now Through End Of Summer
LINCOLN, Calif., Aug. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- And the summer continues strong at Thunder Valley Casino Resort, where winning guests are paid to beat the heat. This July, lucky guests at Thunder Valley won a combined total of $10,266,058 in jackpots over $1,200. The giveaways will only get grander with the Escape to Paradise Dream Vacation Giveaway from August to October, as well as the continued $200,000 Cruisin' Poker Giveaway.
"Here at Thunder Valley's AAA Four Diamond-rated luxury hotel, the summer fun just does not end," said C.J. Graham, General Manager at Thunder Valley. "From now until the last week of September, guests are welcome to attend H2O, a pool party we will be hosting at our resort-style pool and ten private cabanas every Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. There will be music, drink specials, giveaways and contests—something not to be missed!"
In addition to the weekly pool party, Thunder Valley is offering its guests a chance to win the Escape to Paradise Dream Vacation Giveaway, now through October 1. Every Monday and Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., table game players can win up to $500 in Promotional Chips every 15 minutes in the Hula Hot Seats. Guests receive a free daily entry into the weekly drawings, held every Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m., and they can earn additional entries by playing with their Thunder Club card. The Grand Finale Drawing for a guaranteed $150,000 Lifetime of Vacations Prize Package will be held at 7 p.m. on October 1.
The $200,000 Cruisin' Poker Giveaway continues through the end of August. Guests can participate in Hourly Poker Cruise & Cash drawings held every Monday and Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. with cash prizes ranging from $100 to $500 and a guaranteed winner of a Card Player Poker Cruise valued at $6,000 every Wednesday. Guests can earn drawing entries by making a qualifying hand while playing live poker. The Grand Finale drawing is on August 31 at 9 p.m. where nine winners will walk away with their share of $10,000 cash and one lucky guest will drive away in a new custom-built 1932 Roadster valued at $60,000, courtesy of Standley Brothers Traditional Hot Rods and Sleds.
Other summer events include a Lucky Lady Pinup Contest on August 13, where contestants will take part in a quick photo shoot and compete on the Main Stage. The Grand Prize winner receives $1,000 and a pinup shoot with Marilee Caruso Photography (valued at $750). Runner-ups receive cash prizes too, of up to $500 cash.

Thunder Valley Casino Resort was opened by the United Auburn Indian Community in June 2003. The newly remodeled and expanded entertainment, dining and hotel resort is Northern California's first casino offering all the elements of real Las Vegas-style gaming: service, cuisine and entertainment in an outstanding facility.
Located 30 miles east of Sacramento, Thunder Valley Casino Resort offers 200,000 square feet of gaming space including over 3,000 slot and video machines, 125 table games and a live poker room with space for 160 players.
