Three Prestige Communities Are Named to U.S. News & World Report's List of "Best Nursing Homes"

VANCOUVER, Wash., Aug. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- A trio of senior living communities in the Prestige Care family were recently named to the U.S. News & World Report's list of "Best Nursing Homes" in 2011 for their dedication to providing the highest standard in senior and rehabilitation care.

Each honoree – Chehalem Health and Rehabilitation Center, Porthaven Health Care Center and Creswell Health and Rehabilitation Center – qualified for inclusion on the list earlier this year by earning perfect scores on the Five-Star Quality Rating System, carried out by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

A community's rating, ranging from one to five stars, was determined by scores that consider safety, past health inspection results, caregiver and staffing data, as well as other quality measures.
