Three Portfolio Managers Join First Republic
SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- First Republic Bank (NYSE:FRC), a leading private bank and wealth management company, today announced that Dagny Maidman, Chris Chase, and Erik Ralston have joined First Republic from Credit Suisse. All three were named Managing Director and Portfolio Manager.

Over the past several years, First Republic has significantly expanded its wealth management business in its urban coastal markets through significant organic growth, the acquisitions of Constellation Wealth Advisors and Luminous Capital, and the hiring of a number of well-recognized wealth management teams.
The new team is part of First Republic Private Wealth Management, which provides customized wealth management solutions, including trust, investment management and brokerage services, to high net worth individuals and families, foundations, and endowments. Maidman has extensive experience serving high net worth individuals and families. She has been recognized by Time Magazine and Barron's and has appeared on CNBC. Maidman also previously worked for Lehman Brothers and Montgomery Securities. Before she began her career in financial services, she was a corporate litigator at McCutchen, Doyle, Brown & Enersen in San Francisco. Maidman earned a Bachelor's degree cum laude from Williams College and a juris doctorate from Yale Law School.
Chase specializes in helping founders and highly concentrated shareholders of privately held companies implement early stage tax and estate planning strategies. Earlier in his career, Chase worked for Lehman Brothers and traded options at the Pacific Coast Stock Exchange. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics and Business from East Carolina University.
Ralston specializes in serving corporate executive and company founders. Earlier in his career, he was with Deutsche Bank and G7 Group, and worked in the semiconductor business prior to his career in financial services. Fluent in Japanese, Ralston earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from University of California, Santa Barbara and a MBA in Finance and Economics from New York University.
