Three Partners from Hankinson LLP Recognized by Texas Super Lawyers

DALLAS, Sept. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Three attorneys from the Dallas appellate law boutique Hankinson LLP have been named among the state's top attorneys for 2014 by the publishers of Texas Super Lawyers.

Noted attorney and law firm founder Deborah Hankinson and partners O. Rey Rodriguez and Rick Thompson were chosen for inclusion on the annual list of the state's top attorneys.

An attorney and mediator, Ms. Hankinson also was singled out as one of the Top 10 and Top 100 attorneys in Texas, the Top 50 Women lawyers in Texas, and the Top 100 attorneys in Dallas-Fort Worth.

The list, published annually by Thomson Reuters, is based on nominations from peers, an analysis of attorneys' work and a panel review. Mr. Rodriguez has been named to Texas Super Lawyers every year since 2008 and has been recognized by D Magazine on its list of the Best Lawyers in Dallas from 2011 to 2014 for his work in appellate law.

Mr. Thompson is a former Texas Assistant Solicitor General, a post that handles appellate work for the Attorney General of Texas, and has represented clients at all levels of appeals courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court.

All three attorneys are Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
