1. Provide an opportunity to acknowledge the recovery across the wind power sector through presentations on the latest progress of offshore projects
At this series of events, leading planning and design organizations have been invited to give presentations on the progress of offshore wind power projects across China, including projects in Shanghai and Dalian as well as in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Shandong and Fujian provinces, including which among them have completed their offshore wind power planning, and to engage in a lively debate concerning the industry's Chinese development model.
2. Offer an opportunity to understand the latest trends in the industry by bringing together the leading wind turbine manufacturers
The series of events will assemble the key manufacturers of complete offshore wind turbines under one roof, including such mainstream players as Vestas / Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Goldwind, Gamesa, United Power, Sinovel, Shanghai Electric / Siemens and Ming Yang, among several others. Each firm plans to showcase the latest in offshore wind power technologies and the unique advantages of their respective wind power operation and maintenance services.
3. Capture future opportunities in the industry and present operation and maintenance brands
The series of events at the Wind Farm O&M China Conference & Exhibition, the first professional exhibition showcasing wind power operation and maintenance solutions in Asia, will explore management of the lifecycles of onshore and offshore wind power projects and related services. Exhibitors include China Tianyuan New Energy Technology, DNV-GL, Eulikind, 3S Lift, Nanjing Avis, SKF, Romax, Nanjing High Accurate Drive Equipment Manufacturing Group, Timken, SgurrEnergy, MAKE, EDF Renewable, IOSH and ARMSA, among several others. The event will mark the Chinese debut for EDF Renewable, the largest third-party operation and maintenance provider in North America. Solutions concerning management technologies of onshore and offshore wind power farms, operation and maintenance equipment for wind turbines, auxiliary maintenance equipment, management systems for spare parts, maintenance tools, storeroom management, contractor management and personnel training will be on display. Notably, DNV-GL will showcase its "On-site Operation Control Room" highlighting the unique integrated solution for asset optimization -- a solution that will reduce costs and risks, while increasing power generation and profits.
4. Provide complete solutions with a focus on offshore installations
With a focus on offshore installations, leading offshore installation companies including CCCC Third Harbor Engineering, Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries, Jiangsu Longyuan Zhenhua Marine Engineering, Jiangsu Rainbow Heavy Industries and Jiangsu Daoda Marine Heavy Industry will gather together to showcase a variety of installation equipment and methods, analyze cases and share experiences.
5. Join hands with the leading wind power nations to share in their advanced experience
Event attendees will have the opportunity to meet with members of associations and delegations from developed countries including the U.K., the Netherlands, Denmark, Germany and the U.S., to engage in an active exchange of ideas with firms from around the world, and share their experience with similar projects as well as get acquainted with the latest product technologies and operation concepts.
6. Improve the trade mechanism by expanding the opportunities for on-site communications and negotiations
The series of events will serve to further enhance the trade mechanism, while, at the same time, act as the continuation of the "On-Site Complete Machine and Parts Manufacturers Trade Fair". Heads of procurement from leading wind turbine manufacturers are invited to engage in face-to-face talks with Chinese and overseas parts manufacturers. In addition, organizers will assemble a professional wind power delegation to communicate with exhibitors on a variety of operation and maintenance issues.
7. Provide the opportunity to witness large-scale offshore projects up close by visiting offshore projects under construction
Exhibitors and attendees will have the opportunity to visit Phase I and Phase II of the East Sea Bridge Wind Farm, China's first large-scale offshore wind power farm, with Phase II still under construction, and the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone, the first of its kind in the country. In addition, organizers will arrange a Wind Power Operation Training Day session where industry insiders can take part in authoritative and comprehensive training classes focusing on wind power operation and maintenance.
8. Engage in meaningful discussions with leaders in the wind power sector
Discussions at the events will focus on "offshore" and "operation and maintenance." As for offshore wind power, senior experts from leading firms will conduct wide and in-depth discussions during which they will talk about leading manufacturers' latest models of complete offshore wind turbines, installation methods of offshore wind power turbines and large-scale installation equipment, offshore integrated infrastructure solutions and the latest trends in and project cases of the global wind power industry. As for operation and maintenance, discussions will focus on the advantages and disadvantages of operation models of wind turbines before and after their expiration period, challenges concerning the operation of "orphan" wind turbines, technological advances concerning the inventory management of spare parts, transportation of large parts and accessibility of wind farms, status monitoring and data analysis, R&D and deployment of auxiliary maintenance equipment as well as offshore wind power logistics and specific maintenance vessels, among other operation- and maintenance-related topics.
