Three Greene Broillet & Wheeler Partners Honored as 2017's Top Plaintiff Lawyers
SANTA MONICA, Calif., June 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Los Angeles Daily Journal has designated three partners, Bruce Broillet, Christine Spagnoli and Mark Quigley as Top Plaintiff Lawyers of 2017. This is the first time all three attorneys with the Santa Monica law firm Greene Broillet & Wheeler, LLP have made the prestigious list in the same year.
The Daily Journal published a special supplement honoring the 30 leading California plaintiff attorneys who have demonstrated exemplary trial advocacy skills and shown leadership in the legal community.
Renowned trial lawyer Bruce Broillet has earned an impeccable reputation for his diverse legal achievements and landmark verdicts and settlements, including a $55 million verdict in the trial involving FOX Sports reporter and TV personality Erin Andrews in her case against a hotel for its conduct, which led to a stalker secretly shooting video of Andrews in her room in the nude. Mr. Broillet currently represents the family of prominent attorney Milton Olin, who was struck and killed while on his bicycle by a distracted driving LA County Sheriff's deputy. Trial is scheduled to begin in September 2017.
As one of the state's most elite trial lawyers, Christine Spagnoli has dedicated her career to fighting for consumer safety by successfully litigating automotive design and tire defect cases against the nation's leading manufacturers. Currently, Ms. Spagnoli is co-lead counsel in the FedEx freight vehicle collision cases, which is a Judicial Council Coordinated Proceeding (JCCP) arising out of the Orland bus crash, in which a driver of a FedEx Freight tractor trailer crossed over the center median of I-5 in Orland, CA and struck a bus carrying high school students from Southern California who were going on a tour of Humboldt State University. The crash killed 9 occupants of the bus and injured 36. The first case is set for trial on October 2, 2017.
Mark Quigley has spent the past 30 years working in employment law, fighting for the rights of workers who've been discriminated against, terminated or retaliated against due to unlawful employment practices. As co-lead counsel, Mark Quigley was instrumental in obtaining a $7.3 million jury verdict in a sexual harassment/retaliation and wrongful termination case involving a whistleblower that sued celebrity yoga guru Bikram Choudhury. Mr. Quigley continues to fight for his client in the ongoing effort to collect on the judgment award. The defendant has allegedly fled the country and moved his assets out of state in an effort to dodge his responsibility.
Greene Broillet & Wheeler, LLP is a plaintiff's firm dedicated to fighting for the rights of injured consumers across California to improve public safety and demand accountability.
