Turkcell Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Koray Ozturkler stated that, "Graduation is like harvest time for the Snowdrops. At the end of each academic year a portrait of joy emerges with each of our graduating Snowdrop students. This year, yet again, a number of our young women have graduated from high school and university. When we take a look back, we proudly note that over the past 13 years, 17,000 of our young women have graduated from high school and 1,800 from university. The number of scholarships we continue to provide annually with our Snowdrops project has reached 100,000. As a result of our efforts, our Snowdrops have since become teachers, doctors, engineers, lawyers and nurses, who serve the greater community. I congratulate our Snowdrops, and wish them every success in their future endeavors."
ÇYDD General Chairman Prof. Dr. Aysel Celikel added the following: "The success rate of the Snowdrops and the steadfast pursuit of the exemplary project's educational goals have been showcased throughout the world. Indeed, arm in arm with Turkcell it has become one of the longest running projects in Turkey, having set an international precedent for its sustainability. Having Turkcell as our partner has provided the continuity that the project needed, and this year even more Snowdrops have graduated. We invite all companies and organizations to join us in creating new projects that provide our young women with equal opportunities."
