Thomson Reuters CompuMark Introduces Trademark Analysis for iPad
New iPad app enables trademark professionals to manage trademark projects with greater efficiency - anytime, anywhere
NORTH QUINCY, Mass., July 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Thomson Reuters CompuMark, a Thomson Reuters Intellectual Property & Science business and global leader in trademark searching and brand protection solutions, today announced the launch of Trademark Analysis, a software application (app) for the iPad®. Trademark Analysis, free from the Apple® App Store(SM), allows Thomson Reuters CompuMark SERION® users to easily review, analyze, annotate and share Full Trademark Report search results from their iPads.
The new Trademark Analysis app for iPad offers users the flexibility to continue the trademark research process away from their desks, helping increase productivity and expediting trademark decision making. The app allows users to automatically synchronize their iPads with the SERION Analysis Tool to download Full Trademark Reports, comprehensive documents that identify the availability of an intended trademark for use and registration.
At their leisure and without any Wi-Fi connection needed, trademark professionals can now review, analyze and make annotations to the search results. Once users complete their work, synchronization with the SERION Analysis Tool ensures the work is saved and available for later viewing. Clients also have the option to easily share their completed, annotated work via email, keeping the decision-making process moving.
"We are pleased to provide a new level of flexibility and productivity for trademark professionals on the go," said Viji Krishnan, vice president and general manager, Thomson Reuters CompuMark. "The way in which our clients work is changing. Trademark Analysis for iPad is an example of our organization's commitment to develop trademark products and services that fit the busy lives of today's legal and trademark professionals who seek faster and more efficient workflow processes."
Trademark Watching is being added to the Trademark Analysis app for the iPad later this month. Trademark Watching Services monitor trademark applications and publications and notify brand owners when potentially conflicting marks are identified. Clients will also have the ability to review, analyze, annotate and share the results compiled in Watch reports.
With more than 40 years of trademark search, clearance and watch experience, Thomson Reuters CompuMark protects nearly all of the world's top brands and is used by leading trademark law firms around the globe.
