Thomas Riegelman joins White Lodging as the Vice President of Engineering and Facilities Management

MERRILLVILLE, Ind., May 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- White Lodging is pleased to announce that Thomas Riegelman will join White Lodging as the vice president of engineering and facilities management.

In his new role, Riegelman will lead a team of regional engineers, develop hotel capital expenditure plans and budgets, oversee renovation project management and help White Lodging's growth from 159 properties to more than 210 by the end of 2015.

Previously a principal with R-A Associates, LLC, where he provided facility management and hospitality consulting services, Riegelman's career includes more than 20 years of corporate executive experience managing hotel and resort operations and planning. He has also served as vice president and group director of facilities for Sandals Resorts International and the vice president of technical services and the vice president of engineering for Hyatt Hotels Corporation.

He is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, the National Fire Protection Association, the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, Air-Conditioning Engineers and the International Facility Management Association, and the Cornell Hotel Society. He has been a guest lecturer in facilities management, capital planning and project management at the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration, where he received his undergraduate degree. He also holds a Master's degree in Business Administrations from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

Riegelman begins his new position May 21.
