Thomas Ricketts, Executive Chairman of the Chicago Cubs, to Address The Executives' Club of Chicago
CHICAGO, March 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Thomas S. Ricketts, Executive Chairman of the Chicago Cubs, will address the members and guests of The Executives' Club of Chicago at its Chicago CEO Breakfast on March 25, 2010.
Mr. Ricketts will speak on his breadth of experience from "Bonds to Baseball." He was named Executive Chairman of the Chicago Cubs after leading his family's acquisition of the team from the Tribune Company in 2009. He will discuss how his experience building a culture of excellence in business will translate to success in Major League Baseball.
In 2000, Mr. Ricketts founded Incapital LLC, a Chicago-based global investment bank and is currently serving as Chairman and CEO. Since its formation, Incapital and its entities have underwritten over $175 billion of corporate bonds, leading the industry as an underwriter, distributor, and liquidity provider. In 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2008, Mr. Ricketts was named to Institutional Investor Magazine's "Online Finance 40," which recognizes the nations' leaders in the field of E-Finance.
The Club's quarterly Chicago CEO Breakfast Series features Chief Executive Officers of booming Chicago companies who have led with innovative strategies, enabling their organizations to compete successfully in the global marketplace. The March 25 program will be held at the Fairmont Chicago in the Imperial Ballroom, B2 Level.
