Thomas McCarthy Joins Patriot National Insurance Group as Regional Vice President

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., March 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Patriot National Insurance Group announced today that Thomas McCarthy has joined its team as Regional Vice President of the Gulf Coast Region.  The region includes the states of Florida, Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana.  As RVP, Mr. McCarthy will oversee all marketing and underwriting responsibilities for the Gulf Coast Region, and will be based at Patriot's Lake Mary (Orlando), FL regional office.

Before joining Patriot National, Mr. McCarthy was Vice President at Zenith Insurance.  Mr. McCarthy has also held leadership positions at ManagedComp, the PMA Insurance Group, Orion Capital and the Marriott Corporation.  He is a graduate of Keene State College (BS) and holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
