Thomas M. Praschak Joins SPS as Chief Operating Officer
PARSIPPANY, N.J., Dec. 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Strategic Products and Services (SPS), a unified communications systems integrator and managed service provider, today announced that Thomas M. Praschak will join the company as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Based at SPS headquarters in Parsippany, NJ, Praschak will assume his new role on December 30, 2013.
SPS specializes in design, installation and support of unified communications and collaboration applications, including video, mobility, infrastructure, bridging, contact center, and the associated managed and cloud-based services.
As a member of the SPS executive leadership team, Praschak will lead the Managed Services and Operations organizations, Professional Services, as well as the Chief Technology Office and the Centralized Services groups. He will drive business transformation by growing the SPS services business and streamlining processes to provide a scalable structure to better serve customers and support future growth.

Prior to joining SPS, Praschak served as vice president, service operations for Dimension Data where he built and managed the Americas Services Operations, a service business providing staffing, consulting, deployment, maintenance, management, cloud and outsourcing solutions. Praschak also served as vice president, general manager converged communications and network integration. Prior to his tenure at Dimension Data, Praschak served as vice president, general manager at DecisionOne where he led the logistics and repair business and oversaw remote services. Praschak has also held roles with Marconi, Lucent Technologies and AT&T Bell Laboratories.
