Third Annual Box Tops for Education® Town Hall Event to Feature Celebrities and Community Advocates in Atlanta

MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Box Tops for Education® is hosting its third annual Town Hall discussion to facilitate conversations on K-8 education and ways to support our children's academic success. Moderated by television personality T.J. Holmes and Atlanta's NBC 11 Alive News Education Reporter Donna Lowry, the event takes place at the Georgia Aquarium on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 6:30 p.m.  The invitation-only event will be made available for viewing via webcast on Hello Beautiful (www.hellobeautiful.com).

Celebrity mom and Grammy Award®-winning artist Monica, 2014 Georgia Teacher of the Year Jemelleh Coes, and Brooklyn Excelsior Charter School founder Omar Wasow will participate in a solution-oriented panel discussion focused on community involvement and a shared commitment to the future of America's children. The event will unite parents, teachers and community leaders in an effort to make a real impact on education in our school systems.
