ThinkVine Opens Offices in Chicago, Phoenix
Expansion Indicative of Business Momentum
CINCINNATI, May 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- ThinkVine, a marketing mix optimization software company, today announced the opening of two new offices to support rapid business growth – one each in Chicago and Phoenix. As ThinkVine continues to expand, the office openings are necessary to better support ThinkVine's operations in its product development and sales organizations. Chicago will principally house sales staff and Phoenix will bring the company's software engineers together.

According to Battaglia, a handful of software engineers in home offices in the Phoenix area have worked over the past three years with a team of Cincinnati-based mathematicians and marketing scientists led by Damon Ragusa, the company's founder, to develop a product that is widely recognized as the market leader. A combination of additional people and a recent switch to the Agile development methodology has led to bringing the engineering team together now. Chicago is home to a number of ThinkVine's customers and business partners, and is a very strong market for consumer goods companies. "Most of the Chicago staff are sales people. They also have been working from home. Now, we have a base of sales operations to effectively grow the business in an important business market," he said.
In December 2011, ThinkVine announced that it secured $8 million in series C funding. Since last fall, it has increased its total number of employees by over 60 percent to better develop, market and sell its marketing mix optimization software and to engage with the many large new customers it has added. Additionally, the company has developed strategic partnerships with leading consumer data providers Acxiom and KBM Group.
