ThinkEco Brings Carrier Thermostat Control to Utilities and Their Customers

NEW YORK, Feb. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ThinkEco, the developer of cloud-based energy-efficiency and demand-response solutions, and Carrier, the world's leader in high-technology heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions, have partnered to integrate the Carrier^® ComfortChoice^® Touch thermostat with ThinkEco's modlet® cloud platform. This integration now enables ThinkEco's utility customers to enroll central and window air conditioners into the same energy-efficiency or demand-response program via ThinkEco's modlet cloud platform. 

The ThinkEco platform operates without the need for smart meters to give utilities access to real-time load data for window air conditioners, and targeted, real-time demand-response control capabilities for all air-conditioning loads. ThinkEco's demand-response offering has received multiple awards over the past two years for its customer attractiveness, pricing competitiveness and overall program design.
