Andy Davies appointed President & COO to accelerate growth.
ATLANTA, March 29, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- ThingTech today announced that Andy Davies has been appointed President and Chief Operating Officer, following the completion of ThingTech's $4 Million Series A Round, which was led by BIP Capital.
Effective immediately, this appointment has the objective of passing responsibility to Davies for ThingTech's marketing, sales, customer success, and business operations. Andy has spent the past two decades in the enterprise software, services and hardware industry leading the strategy and sales of both enterprise solutions and IoT platforms.
"I am excited to join ThingTech as we embark on the next chapter and to help shape success for our new and existing customers — all of which are seeking enterprise asset intelligence to drive bottom line results in asset and vehicle utilization and workforce productivity," said Davies. "There has been much hype about the IoT in recent years and there continues to be significant investment by companies in IoT. Our focus in IoT will continue to be in delivering industry vertical applications for both mid-market and enterprise customers, with vehicle fleets, construction rental equipment plus critical equipment and machinery, all leveraging the powerful ThingX Connect platform."
