STOCKHOLM, January 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
Internet of Things startup Thingsquare today announced the program for the spring 2014 Internet of Things (IoT) courses. The Internet of Things is one of this year's most talked about technologies, set out to revolutionize consumer electronics, lighting, smart cities, and retail.
The 2014 course program has been expanded with a set of online courses as well as a new on-site in-depth course in advanced firmware engineering. The courses allow tech professionals to learn how to connect their products to the Internet of Things, using technologies like 6lowpan, WiFi and Bluetooth Smart / Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
"The skills I acquired during the course helped me to find new ways to take the concept from theory to practice," said Michael Trieb, independent software consultant. "The course provided me with a solid toolset for connecting products to the Internet."
"What I learned in the course will work perfectly when building our IP low-power network," said Bao Mok, Software Research Engineer, CTTC-HK, Hong Kong.
Attendees who sign up before January 28 get a 20% early-bird discount.
