ThermoEnergy Corporation Appoints Cary Bullock Chairman of Board of Directors

WORCESTER, Mass., Sept. 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- ThermoEnergy Corporation (OTCBB: TMEN), a diversified technologies company engaged in the municipal and industrial wastewater treatment and power generation technologies, today announced that Cary G. Bullock has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Bullock will replace Dennis C. Cossey, who retired as ThermoEnergy Chairman last month. Mr. Bullock has been serving as ThermoEnergy President and Chief Executive Officer. He will now be Chairman, CEO and President.

A thirty-five year veteran in the Energy/utility and Cleantech Industries, Mr. Bullock received his B.S. Degree from Amherst College and his Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He joined ThermoEnergy Corporation as President and CEO in January 2010.
