Bullock noted the company's turnaround milestones, including a $27 million wastewater contract with the City of New York, the elimination of $14 million in debt, and a 90 percent increase in revenues over the past year.

ThermoEnergy's Ammonia Recovery Process is being deployed by the City of New York to remove ammonia/nitrogen from wastewater and recycle it into fertilizer. The technology is being marketed globally and the recycled nitrogen fertilizer will help feed a growing world population.

Bullock said ThermoEnergy's zero emissions boiler system uses pressurized oxy-combustion (POXC ™) to capture CO2 from coal-fired power plant boilers for re-use or sequestration. In addition, ThermoEnergy's system eliminates unhealthy air emissions and captures water that is embedded in coal for re-use. In terms of opportunity for ThermoEnergy, Bullock pointed out that the total power generation market is more than $1 trillion.

ThermoEnergy recently announced that it will collaborate on pressurized oxy-combustion projects through its newly formed company, The Unity Power Alliance. The Unity Power Alliance will partner with other power industry participants to accelerate the commercialization of pressurized oxy-combustion technology.
