Therma-Tru(R) Wins Golden Hammer Award

The Golden Hammer Award recognizes vendors demonstrating industry excellence in 32 product categories. Therma-Tru outperformed more than 20 competitors in the doors category to obtain first-place honors. This is the second Golden Hammer the company has received. Therma-Tru was awarded a similar honor in the same category in 2007.

Ballots were submitted to buyers and merchandise managers in America's top 500 home center and building material retailers and dealers. Retailers and dealers were asked to select one supplier from each of the 32 product categories, which they felt excelled in strategic partnerships, based on criteria such as category and inventory management, new product innovation and quality control.

Awards were presented at the Golden Hammer Awards Reception on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at the National Hardware Show in the Las Vegas Convention Center.
