There's More to Fear This Year at Haunt 2012!
The month-long terror begins on September 28th
DOSWELL, Va., Sept. 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Evil spirits take over the park with zombies, psychotic clowns and other twistedness that will haunt you and your friend's dreams with the unveiling of Halloween Haunt at Kings Dominion on Friday night, September 28th.
The 12th year of Haunt at Kings Dominion will be bigger and better than ever before. New for 2012, Kings Dominion has prepared the guest rooms and the staff is eagerly awaiting your arrival at our new maze, "No Vacancy: The Inn At Darkside Manor". Along with "No Vacancy", Haunt will feature the return of nine terror-filled mazes, including "Blue Ridge Bloodbath", "Slaughter House" and "Doll Factory", among others.
The terror continues with six scare zones lurking through the park, including two new ones, "PrimEvil" - set to a jungle theme where there is only one rule: eat or be eaten and "Cleaver Brothers Carnival" – where the extraordinary comes to life.
Only at Kings Dominion, guests can take a seat and have the hair on the back of their neck stand up with our new 3-D show, "Haunted House". Returning in 2012 is the popular show "Blood Drums" with high energy percussion, music, rhythms, sparks and lights.
The horror kicks off every night with the Overlord's Resurrection at the strike of 7 p.m., as our spine-chilling monsters are sent out into the night. In all, Haunt will feature more than 450 monsters, 10 blood-curling mazes, six trembling scare zones, six frightful shows and more than 20 of our thrill rides in the foggy, dark of night that will leave you quivering with fear.
"Every year Halloween Haunt at Kings Dominion gets bigger and the fear continues to grow, providing our guests with the best Halloween scare in the region," said Kings Dominion Vice President and General Manager Pat Jones. "I can promise our guests this year there's more to fear."
Halloween Haunt attractions operate on select nights from Friday, September 28th through Sunday, October 28th. Guests can get the most up-to-date hours of operation by visiting kingsdominion.com/haunt. Haunt is free with park admission.
