Therap Introduces Enhancements to Employment
Developmental Disability Software Features a New User Interface and a Comprehensive Summary of Employment Services
WATERBURY, Conn., Feb. 4, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Therap's employment module has undergone enhancements to its interface and several additional options for employment agencies and providers of supported employment services. The new module design maintains the functionality for users accustomed to Therap's itemized forms used to complete a full employment and volunteer record, while streamlining the number of steps and addressing user feedback to create a more intuitive process. Additionally, new options are available that allow users to include information previously delegated to billing service authorizations, such as the funding source, and new fields to capture varying state employment requirements, including outcome variances.
The employment module provides a comprehensive employment and volunteer history for individuals in one place, utilized in tandem with employment service data collected on individualized supports, backed by billing service authorizations and enhanced by measurable outcomes reporting. With Therap's Job Bank-Employer Database, employment specialists have the necessary tools to maintain both an accurate record of the individual's work experience and specific job details and work contacts. They can record the detailed assessments and accomplishments that the individual has made throughout their work experience including milestones, outcomes, job coaching assistance and ancillary skills. Administrative staff or employment supervisors create, update or delete employers from the master Job Bank, add employer contacts and job templates, which are in turn viewable by job coaches and employment specialists. Staff have access to accurate universal information on a consistent basis, while focusing in on the individuals on their caseload they've been assigned to provide service. Additionally, users generate reports to measure progress and milestones achieved and pull data from all areas of the employment tool.
In addition to offering tools for employment services, Therap assists providers with meeting their state's documentations needs, including demographics, person-centered individual support plans, care plans, medication administration records, progress notes and integrated direct-to-Medicaid and third-party billing.
