Therap Announces Training Academy Series on Service Data Collection Tools
Intellectual & Developmental Disability software offers interactive, on-demand training series on its service tracking tools
WATERBURY, Conn., June 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Therap's new series of courses on service tracking include introductory and administrative management of the individual support planning modules on Therap. Courses offer Therap users step-by-step instructions on how to effectively facilitate and record person centric goals, enter tasks and scoring methods and generate reports to measure outcomes. These courses are designed to help staff plan, organize and implement the individualized service plans developed for an individual.
The new Training Academy ISP series is available to Therap users, including caregivers and other service professionals, providing supports to individuals with developmental disabilities and other Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS). The series will provide an effective and consistent quality learning tool for new staff familiarizing themselves with the electronic documentation system. Support professionals, program managers and QIDPs learn how to effectively create and customize an ISP program by using existing templates on Therap. Users are able to generate comprehensive reports that on the services provided to the Individuals to track service delivery and progress towards goals. With the ISP series, Therap launches a new training format aimed at engaging users using interactive, easy-to-follow instructions that is on-demand and available to re-take as often as desired.
With agency training costs, staffing coverage and staff travel to and from training locations in mind, Therap's new course structure offers the same training content and objectives users would find at agency new hire training or Therap regional conferences, but accommodating the user's work schedule, at their convenience from work sites across the community. Therap's Training Academy now offers over 80 self paced, on-demand courses since its launch in 2015. In addition to the ISP series, additional course topics include incident reporting, employment, demographics, Health Tracking, attendance, person centered documentation, and behavior tracking, among others.
